THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED SOON TO INCLUDE OUR SUSTAINABLE FARMING PRACTICES

Dan and his brother Stanley Tawczynski started Taft Farm back in 1968 with little more than a dream and some land. This land with some of the most fertile in the whole state with a unique geography that makes sustainable practices like crop rotation and cover cropping easy to do.

TAFT FARMS IS OVER 200 ACRES

The brother’s dream was to create a farm that did not need to heavily rely on chemicals and pesticides. A farm that could act as a steward for the land instead of robbing it of its natural resource and beauty.

With each passing season Taft Farms renews its commitment to sustainable agriculture. With a focus on heirloom varieties, pesticide free growing, watershed management, and minimal fertilizer use, the land yields three+ seasons worth of food.
